Toni Henning
Toni Henning is the Commercial General Manager of Chevron’s Southern Africa Strategic Business Unit, a role she assumed in January 2024. In this role, Toni oversees the Commercial department in Angola and the Republic of Congo focusing on business development, commodities transactions and develop comprehensive long-term strategic plans that consider price cycles and market trends.
Toni joined Chevron in 2008, as a Strategic Planning & Business Development Analyst and since then has held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in business leadership, strategy, and change management. Most recently, she was the manager in Mid-Africa asset management & gas monetization in Nigeria and Mid-Africa Strategic Business Unit, where she oversaw the base business and growth across the value chain with internal and external partners. Prior to that, she was the B&C Sponsor, led negotiations in the Permian and Angola LNG, and held leadership roles in our technology centers.
Toni has earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rice University.
A native of Texas, Toni resides in Luanda with her husband Matthew and two sons. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking and the beach.
