Nicola Mvuayi
Nicola Mvuayi holds a degree in Economics and a Master’s in Development Economics from the University of London, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), and is a YALI Fellow with the U.S. Department of State. With over 11 years of experience in the financial sector, Nicola has built a distinguished career through a series of impactful roles. She has been a member of the Technical Group for the Restructuring of the Oil Sector and the establishment of the National Oil, Gas, and Biofuels Agency. Her expertise includes serving as a Financial Analyst at Eni Angola’s Budget Planning Department, heading the Department of Studies and Statistics at the Ministry of Finance, and holding senior positions such as National Director of the Exchange Office and the State Budget Directorate at the Ministry of Finance. Additionally, Nicola has provided consultancy to the Office of the Secretary of State for the Budget at the Ministry of Finance, showcasing her extensive knowledge in financial management, economic planning, and policy development.
