Miles joined SLB in 1995, working as a Field QC in seismic data acquisition, working on many projects internationally, including Angola. Since 1999, Miles has held various technical, leadership, sales and advisory roles, including at the SLB Technology Center in Norway, where he was involved in product development and sustaining; and as IndigoPool Director for Europe and Africa, where he successfully advised customers on the farm-out and disposal of assets, supporting them in securing hundreds of millions of dollars in
investment. More recently Miles was the Digital Sales Manager for the UK, supporting customers, together with his team, in transforming their businesses through the adoption of digital technologies and workflows. Having led the Europe EXD business between 2011 and 2015, where he and his team developed a number of new acquisition projects for which they secured investment, Miles was delighted to be appointed as the Exploration Data New Ventures Lead for West Africa in October 2024. Working in
partnership with ANPG, Miles is developing a number of projects for seismic data acquisition and reimaging. Miles is a people person. “Relationships, together with the best technologies, unlock the most value”
