Manuel Barros holds a postgraduate degree in Mining Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Oil and Gas Field Prospecting. He has over 28 years of experience in the oil industry, having worked in Operations, Reservoir Management and Simulation, Oil Field Development, Planning, and Management Control, with an emphasis on ensuring gas reserves for the Angola LNG Project. He has been a member of the Sonagás board since 2017 and currently serves as the CEO of Sonangol’s Gas and Renewable Energy Business Unit.
