Dr. Leyroy Jose is a project manager with over 13 years of distinguished experience in the oil and gas industry. Renowned for his exceptional leadership, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to inspire and guide teams through innovative problem-solving and strategic execution. His profound knowledge of organizational behavior, project management, and strategic execution ensures he thrives under pressure, delivering high performance.

Throughout his career, Dr. Leyroy Jose has successfully led various high-stakes projects across Nigeria, Ghana, Namibia, and Angola. His extensive portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed clients such as BP, ENI, Chevron, Sonangol, Solstad, Total Energy, SOMG, and Azule. These experiences enhance his ability to navigate complex project landscapes, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.

Dr. Leyroy Jose’s leadership is characterized by his strategic vision and ability to foster a collaborative team environment. He excels in identifying and mitigating risks, optimizing resources, and driving projects to completion within scope, time, and budget constraints. His innovative approach to problem-solving has led to the development of efficient processes and solutions that have significantly enhanced project performance and operational efficiency.

His knowledge extends to business environment, business research methodology, strategic management, consumer behavior, management information systems, and e-business. Dr. Leyroy Jose’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development is evident in his pursuit of advanced certifications and training. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and holds a Ph.D. in management with a specialty in international business. He also earned a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Salford in Manchester (2021), an Advanced Mechanical Diploma from the Engineering Institute of Technology in Perth, Australia (2014), and a Grade 12 in Mechanics from the National Petroleum Institute in Sumbe, Angola (2005).

His professional history includes his current role as Project Manager for the Offshore Project Group (OPG) at Oceaneering Angola in Luanda (2022-present). Previously, he served as an ROV Project Manager (2015-2021), ROV Project Team Lead (2013-2014), and ROV Pilot Technician (2011-2012) at Oceaneering Angola.

Dr. Leyroy Jose is multilingual, with native fluency in Chokwe and Portuguese, proficiency in English, and basic knowledge of French. He is an active member of several professional and scientific associations, including the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of Management, the Project Management Institute (Angola Chapter), the American Productivity & Quality Center (APQC), and the Centro de Descoberta de Dados (CADE DATA) – Angola.

His recent publications include “Evaluating the Role of Advertising and Sales Promotion on Brand Equity” and “The Impact of Pricing Strategies on Organization Sales Performance within Telecommunication Entities in Angola.”
