Katrina Fisher

Katrina Fisher is the Managing Director for ExxonMobil Angola since November 2023. A native of Newfoundland, Canada, Katrina earned her Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University before joining ExxonMobil Canada in 2003 as a Reservoir Engineer in St. John’s, Newfoundland. After five years in St. John’s serving in a variety of technical roles in reservoir and subsurface engineering she relocated to Houston in 2008. Between 2008 and 2014, she held global and regional business planning and supervisory roles supporting ExxonMobil Production Company. In 2014, she relocated to Atyrau, Kazakhstan to represent ExxonMobil’s interest in the Kashahan Project as the Asset Manager for the project through start up and commissioning. Following this role, she relocated to Kuala Lumpur in January 2017 to manage operations, maintenance, logistics and engineering for offshore oil & gas facilities as the North Asset Manager. From January 2019 through Sept 2020, as the Subsurface Technical Manager she was responsible for the long-term development plans for ExxonMobil’s assets in Malaysia. Following this, Katrina served as the LNG Development Planning Manager for ExxonMobil, in Houston, TX, from Sept 2020 to January 2022, where she was responsible for prioritization and progression of LNG developments through concept selection. Before her current role, Katrina served as the ExxonMobil Angola Production Manager, responsible for daily operations of ExxonMobil’s assets and associated safety, integrity, business controls and production risk management. Katrina resides in Luanda with her husband and two children. She enjoys travelling, scuba diving and padel.
