Katila Tati was appointed Angola Country Manager at Afentra in 2024. She is a seasoned industry professional with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, having held senior roles across legal, regulatory, and commercial functions. Her career began as a Junior Lawyer at Miranda Law Firm before moving into industry positions, including leadership roles at Chevron and Tullow Angola B.V., where she served as Administrative Manager and Deputy Country Manager. Prior to her appointment, Katila acted as Afentra’s External Advisor for Angola, supporting the company’s market entry and its interests in Blocks 3/05 and 3/05A. In her current role, she leverages her extensive expertise in compliance, stakeholder engagement, and upstream project development to strengthen Afentra’s presence in Angola and advance the company’s long-term commitment to responsible asset management. Katia holds a Master's Degree in international Maritime Law.
