Gianni Martins has served as the General Manager of Alfort Petroleum since September 1, 2022. An engineer by training, he holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa, USA. With over 21 years of experience in the oil industry, Mr. Martins began his career at Chevron, CABGOC in 2002, initially as a trainee in the Reservoir Management Department. After earning his degrees in 2007, he joined Sonangol, where he worked in the Upstream Production Department (DPRO) of the then National Concessionaire. In 2014, Mr. Martins left the public sector to embark on a career in private enterprise, becoming Chairman of the Board at Global Inn Investments, an investment firm focused on the oil and mining sectors. In addition to his executive duties at Alfort Petroleum, Mr. Martins is a Shareholder at Sanlam Angola Seguros. Additionally, he is deeply engaged in social causes, serving as the President and Founder of the GGMF, a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to philanthropic efforts.
