Carmen Canjungo holds a degree in Geology from Agostinho Neto University and is an oil and gas sector professional with over 16 years of experience in the Angolan petroleum industry. Throughout her career, she has held technical roles and currently serves as Head of the Concessions and Exploration Department at the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Petroleum and Gas. Her expertise combines a solid technical background in Geology with specialization in Petroleum Resource Policy and Management (acquired in Norway), as well as in oil and gas contracting law and petroleum contract negotiation. She has built her career at the intersection of technical knowledge, resource management, and policy formulation for the sustainable development of the Angolan oil sector.
