As Shell’s Angola Exploration Manager, Benjamin Cornelisse leads the company’s return to Angola and oversees the maturation and execution of new deep-water opportunities. A
Geologist by background, he brings nearly 20 years of upstream experience spanning Exploration, Development, Venture Management, and Portfolio Planning.
Benjamin has previously led complex ventures in Russia, Kazakhstan, Albania, and the Western Black Sea and most recently he served as Business Advisor to the EVP Exploration, Strategy & Portfolio, supporting strategic decision-making and capital allocation across the global Exploration portfolio.
