Adão Costa is the Area Procurement Manager for ExxonMobil Angola, overseeing procurement operations across strategic assets with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and long-term value creation. He has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, beginning his career as a Drilling Engineer and later serving as Engineering Supervisor, contributing significantly to drilling campaigns in Block 15. In September 2024, Adão transitioned into procurement leadership, driving improvements in supplier performance, streamlining contracting processes, and advancing Angola’s local content development goals. Outside of work, Adao is a devoted husband and proud father of two teens. He values family, integrity, and personal growth.
