One Week to Go Until AOG 2025
Headlining this year’s event are ministers, c-level executives and energy leaders from across the global and regional oil and gas landscape. These include ministers from Angola, Namibia, Gabon and more. Representatives from leading organizations such as ANPG, IRDP, AECIPA, ARDA, APPO and CITAC are speaking, joined by major oil and gas players such as Eni, bp, Sonangol, Azule Energy, TotalEnergies, Etu Energias, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Cabship, Baker Hughes, NOV, Bosch, and many more. This level of representation reflects the event’s position as the official meeting platform for the country’s oil and gas industry.
AOG is the largest oil and gas event in Angola. Taking place with the full support of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas; the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency; the Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute; national oil company Sonangol; and the African Energy Chamber; the event is a platform to sign deals and advance Angola’s oil and gas industry. Meanwhile, a defining feature of AOG 2025 is the event’s multi-track program, covering three tracks encompassing the entire oil and gas sector and its value chain. The Strategic Track features discussions on the role of the oil and gas industry as a catalyst for economic transformation, the role of onshore and shallow water operations, Angola’s deepwater potential, financing Angola’s oil and gas development, and more. The Strategic Track takes place over the two days of the main conference agenda.
Additionally, a Technical Track will examine how technology-driven solutions support oil and gas development. The track is geared towards service companies, innovators and data analytics firms, with discussions covering key topics from seismic opportunities to new frontiers to economic diversification, decarbonization and efficiency. The Technical Track also takes place over the two main conference days. AOG 2025 will also feature the first-ever Deals & Showcases Track – an exclusive program feature that encompasses a series of sessions that will explore the procurement processes of some of the country’s biggest operators. The track will also feature presentations that demonstrate youth-led innovation, with the track taking place on the second day of the main conference agenda.
Preceding the main conference, a pre-conference program hosted on September 2 will offer exclusive insights into the technologies and products of tomorrow. The pre-conference will spotlight next-generation technologies, featuring presentations by leading companies including ANPG, IRDP, KAESO Energy Services, Sistran, FIRST E&P, ExxonMobil, Sonangol, CITAC, Corcel and COPIA Group of Companies. Presentations and workshops focus on supervision and quality control, advancing onshore pre-salt exploration, mid- and downstream infrastructure, energy transition challenges and opportunities, enhancing inspections, and more.
AOG 2025 will be the premier platform to engage with the industry, sign impactful deals and expand your footprint across one of Africa’s biggest oil and gas markets. While the conference’s premium delegate passes and Gala Dinner & Awards passes are sold out, stakeholders can still gain access through the event’s standard delegates passes, exclusive exhibition-only passes and pre-conference passes.
