INTERVIEW: Ideias Dinâmicas to Showcase Carbon Credits Platform at AOG 2026 as Angola Scales AI Solutions
Ideias Dinâmicas Group is scaling its artificial intelligence (AI) and autonomous enterprise solutions in Angola while preparing to showcase a new carbon credits management platform at Angola Oil & Gas 2026 this September, signalling a broader push to accelerate digital transformation and sustainability across the country’s oil and gas sector.

Speaking with event organizers, Executive Administrator Alexandre Simões said the company is focused on helping operators improve efficiency, reduce costs and optimize decision-making through AI, cloud infrastructure and blockchain-enabled technologies.

“We are looking at a future of autonomy in companies,” said Simões. “When we look at AI, agents and all of these new processes happening in tech, we see a way of helping people in their work, promoting sustainability and bringing value by optimizing processes.”

At AOG 2026, the company will spotlight its autonomous enterprise model, demonstrating how AI-driven systems, automation and digital agents can improve operational performance across both private operators and public institutions.

The move comes as Angola scales exploration across frontier basins while accelerating brownfield optimization and infill drilling. Through AI applications and digital infrastructure, the country has the potential to sustain crude output above one million barrels per day while advancing gas monetization projects. However, Simões noted that despite growing digital adoption, bureaucracy and regulation continue to slow progress.

“The most difficult thing is bureaucracy,” he said. “We are doing a digital transition to cloud in big companies, but bureaucracy and legislation are still the two main concerns.”

Beyond these technologies, Simões shared insight into the company’s EU-financed carbon credits platform, designed as a marketplace for carbon credit trading. Backed by an €11 million investment, the platform is scheduled to go live in Europe next month.

“We want to put Angola at the center of this sustainability process,” said Simões.

For Ideias Dinâmicas, AOG 2026 will serve as an opportunity to position Angola as both a regional technology hub and a growing center for sustainability innovation. By showcasing its AI-driven solutions and carbon credits platform, the company aims to reinforce Angola’s role in shaping the future of oil and gas in Africa.
