Cabship Joins AOG 2025 as Gold Sponsor, Celebrates 16 Years of Operations
Angolan logistics and supply chain management company Cabship is celebrating 16 years of operations in 2025, marking its continued focus on digitalization, diversification and optimized service delivery across the country. The company is committed to strengthening Angola’s logistics value chain through enhanced infrastructure, global expansion and strong ties with international oil companies.

As part of this milestone, Cabship has joined the Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) conference as a Gold Sponsor. Scheduled for September 3-4 in Luanda, AOG 2025 is the premier event for Angola’s oil and gas industry, uniting the entire value chain under one roof. With a focus on driving investment in key sectors, including logistics and infrastructure, Cabship’s return to the conference underscores its dedication to advancing Angola’s logistics capabilities.

AOG is the largest oil and gas event in Angola. Taking place with the full support of the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas; the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency; the Petroleum Derivatives Regulatory Institute; national oil company Sonangol; and the African Energy Chamber; the event is a platform to sign deals and advance Angola’s oil and gas industry. In recent years, Cabship has been strengthening its infrastructure in Angola to support both active and upcoming oil and gas projects. The company is acquiring a 50,000 m² construction yard near Malongo in Cabinda, which will enhance fabrication and logistics capabilities in both Cabinda and Soyo. Cabship also collaborates closely with international operators in Angola, providing a range of support services for upstream operations, including critical logistics and material management for companies such as Chevron and Azule Energy. Additionally, the company has supported Etu Energias by conducting comprehensive inventory audits that improve the reliability, availability, and efficiency of inventory management.

Cabship is also developing a diving and offshore marine support company in the Cabinda Special Economic Zone, with groundwork for the establishment already underway. As of late 2024, the company was finalizing key infrastructure plans and advancing discussions to acquire the necessary assets for marine and diving operations. This initiative is part of Cabship’s broader strategy to expand its service offerings into the marine sector. Looking beyond 2025, Cabship plans to diversify further into agriculture, property management and road freight transport, while also exploring opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

In addition, Cabship is expanding its global presence, having recently opened an office in Houston, U.S. The Houston division supports the company’s procurement activities in Angola and aids Chevron’s operations across the southern African region. This new office provides a crucial link between Angola and global suppliers, strengthening Cabship’s international footprint.
